Washington state legalized gay marriage! So… that happened! Yay! Now folks in Washington can get gay married!

Wait….

I just thought of something….

If we’re a QSA, shouldn’t we be fighting for queer marriage down here in the Blue Tarp State? Although I guess since we’re all in high school, fighting for any kind of marriage isn’t necessarily our thing….

Anyway, I’m going to have meeting notes for you lovely people later tonight, but right now I sort of need to go do homework and shit like that. Practice my viola, not be on Tumblr… yknow….

I had a dream last night.

But I don’t remember what it was about. But that’s okay, cause there is going to be a DREAM DANCE! at the Montavilla community center on January 28th. So show up at 8 with your dancing shoes and canned food if you are able to!

Also you can only go if you’re under 20, but I don’t think that should be a problem for us Cleveland (fringe) folk.

Look on Facebook if you aren’t satisfied with my report. It’s okay, I’m not satisfied with it either.

Hey Queer Scouts!

At out meeting yesterday, we spent a long time figuring out details about our queer movie night at the Montavilla Community Center, the poster v. flier war continued and we talked about our yearbook photo!

So the Fringe Folk Film Friday Frenzy Festival, or whatever we’re calling it now is scheduled for Friday, January 20th at the Montavilla community center at 8! I think it’s free, but to get in you have to say the name five times fast.

So now we have to decide what films we will be taking in that evening. Suggestions? Come on, think! Everyone’s already seen But I’m a Cheerleader like five times! So come to that on the 20th and we’ll have a gay old time. Also! I saw that there is a poster of it, so that will be on here as soon as I finish it.

Speaking of that… posters v. fliers: which one are YOU most likely to take? I think the verdict is both, so let’s make both for the FFFFFF, kay? Although for fliers, they could be called the Fringe Folk Frenzy Film Festival Friday Fliers… just sayin…

Kindell wants you to wear a colored shirt for the QSA’s yearbook picture next Tuesday, so… let’s maybe plan that so we can be a rainbow! At the very least, it’s next week, so heads up for however much primping you want.

I’m super stoked for the FFFFFF, can’t wait to see you all there!

So sorry I haven’t been keeping up with the meeting notes, it’ll happen eventually. Anyway, Gay Skate was last Monday! I went! It was really fun, and I saw some people who seemed like they were from other GSAs, but nobody seemed to be connecting with each other.

At our last meeting, we started planning the Queer Movie Night! Hopefully on a Friday or Saturday in mid-January. For location I believe we were trying to use the Montavilla Commmunity Center. What movie should we watch? Should it be middle schooler friendly?
